Yorkshire Coast Voting Age Should be Lowered to 16

The voting age should be lowered to 16.

That's the overwhelming result of a ballot of 14 to 18 year olds taken at yesterday's democracy debate in Scarborough.

Young people from Schools, Colleges and Youth groups debated the issue in the borough's council chamber, before casting their votes.
